Mirrors of truth
are the most difficult to find.
Dangerous and deadly,
they are hideous and blind.
The surface is black
instead of the clear silvery kind!
Seeing them is near to impossible
because of the veil that they hide behind.
The veil of lies and fakes,
that plays tricks with the mind.
To lift the veil we need,
inner strength of the subliminal mind!

ReplyDeleteFirstly, loved the rhymes. Secondly, I agree. Truth is so simple and yet so elaborately hidden behind a veil of lies (which, by the way, if more often than not, pretty darn thick). Beautifully penned. Keep it up.
